Another great book which played a significant role in pushing me to work harder and never stop pursuing perfection. Although I may never get there; the reward is in trying each day.
@RobertGreene was originally brought to my attention by @stevecropo who gave me a copy of an earlier work ‘The 48 laws of Power’ which is the sort of book which one tends to leave laying around the house as it seems like it always has more to offer. I have picked up my copy and flipped to a random chapter dozens of times over the years.
48 laws is more about recognizing when others are going to work on you using one of the 48 laws than it is about abusing the laws.
Defense and knowledge go hand in hand. It is not, as some might suspect from the title, about going on an offensive per se. After all, if everybody read the book then the laws themselves would be far less effective.
Another author with more than one book worth reading. This post might have been called the ‘book of the day’.
